Volumetric weigh

The volumetric weight of a shipment is a calculation that reflects the density of a package. A less dense item generally occupies more volume of space, in comparison to its actual weight. The volumetric or dimensional weight is calculated and compared with the actual weight of the shipment to ascertain which is greater; the higher weight is used to calculate the shipment cost.

Formulas for volumetric weight calculation:
Box Length(cm) × Width(cm) × Height(cm) / 5000 = Volumetric weight (kg).	Tube-cylinder Circle area = πR2, where R is the radius of the circle (cm), π = 3.14.(Circle area (cm2) x height (cm)) / 5000 = Volumetric weight (kg)

Box

Length(cm) × Width(cm) × Height(cm) / 5000 = Volumetric weight (kg).

Tube-cylinder

Circle area = πR2, where R is the radius of the circle (cm), π = 3.14.(Circle area (cm2) x height (cm)) / 5000 = Volumetric weight (kg)

IMPORTANT: in case of exceeding the volume weight over the physical, the shipping rate is determined in accordance with the volumetric weight.
